Bush a no-go against Chiefs

Football Betting Lines

11/14/2008 - Metairie, LA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush will not dress for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bush, three-plus weeks removed from arthroscopic knee surgery, took limited reps in practice on Wednesday but was held out of Thursday and Friday's practice sessions before ultimately deciding to give his injured knee another week's rest.

The versatile back was expected to miss two-to-four weeks after injuring his knee in a 30-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers on October 19. He was sidelined in New Orleans' 37-32 victory in London over the San Diego Chargers and, following a bye week, missed the Saints' 34-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday.

Before the injury, the former Heisman Trophy winner led the Saints with eight touchdowns this season, including three on punt returns. He remains the team's leading rusher with 294 yards to go along with 42 catches for 366 yards.
