Stuart skated in 67 games for Calgary's AHL affiliate in Abbotsford last season and registered a career best 36 points with 17 goals.

The 28-year-old has 51 games of NHL experience with Atlanta from 2007-09 and has eight goals with five assists during that time. Those totals include four short-handed tallies.
